Well hello there. You might have noticed that things are looking a little different around here. Welcome to the all-new, ultra-contemporary and deliciously distinctive home of Always Andri. This redesign has been cooking away for a little while, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
Choosing the right wedding planner for you is an important decision, and let’s be honest – there are a lot of us out there nowadays! You need to be able to get a clear idea of what you can expect immediately upon opening that first webpage. My old site had been with me a while, and I was very fond of it – it was comfortable and maybe a bit safe, like a favourite cosy jumper. As any of my couples will tell you; that’s not what I’m about.
When it comes to weddings, I don’t have a signature style. Each event I plan is a beautifully blank canvas for some out-of-the-box ideas. You tell me what makes you tick, and it’s up to me to translate that into a creative, contemporary and design-led wedding, jam packed with personal touches and unforgettable moments. I knew I needed to convey these two crucial keystones of my business – the personal and the innovative – in whatever web design I chose.
I worked on the new site myself, learning lots about coding and web design in the process (and occasionally needing some deep breaths and a long walk to stop me hurling my computer out of the window). I wanted to make sure that every aspect of this new look was carefully considered, from the rich and sumptuous colours, to the clarity of layout and the stylised elegance of the typography.
Design is something I take very seriously, and I have absolutely loved the process of selecting, polishing and refining to get the look just where I wanted it to be. Huge shout outs at this point are due to a few very talented ladies who have helped me bring this new site to life. Firstly, my friend and creative copywriter Ceri Olofson of Candour and Polish. Ceri has lent her considerable wordy talents to honing and clarifying my brand message, helping me shout about Always Andri in exactly the right way. Next is Nicki James of Branding by Nicki, who designed my strong, modern and distinctive new logo, and last but not least, I must mention Fiona Humberstone, whose Design for Go-Getters course has been fascinating, challenging, eye-opening and inspiring, and has got me thinking about aspects of design in a whole new way.
As well as a new look, if you head on over to the services tab, you’ll see a whole new service on offer. I’m now offering planning and design for one-of-a-kind events and parties as well as weddings. Whether a milestone birthday, special anniversary, or an excuse to get friends and loved ones together, I can help you to design an event full of personality, style and ambience.

Much like styling a tablescape, the temptation with a redesign is to keep on tweaking. Straighten a dessert fork here, tuck a foliage tendril there; add a line break here, put this bit of text into italics, move that image over there… It’s important to know when to stop, and while it’s nerve racking putting this labour of love out there in the world (and I suspect I may still tweak it occasionally), I’m so, so happy with the results.
