Last time I gave a little peek at the mood-board and behind the scenes video for the luxe wedding photo-shoot at Kingshill Barn, Elmley Nature Reserve and today I’m back with the photos by Julia and You.
We had two bridal looks on the day with stunning dresses by David Fielden, hair accessories by Blackbird’s Pearl, jewellery by Moodswing Couture and shoes by Merle & Morris.
I asked florists Simon Nickell and Victoria Taberer (euphoric flowers) to focus on using lots of foliage with just a few accent flowers to tie in with all the amazing scenery of the nature reserve. They also created this simple but very effective ceremony backdrop by pinning fern leaves to voile curtains.
Our second dress from David Fielden was a slinky evening number, so our makeup artist Tori Harris added a bold red lip.
The fabulous 5 tier cake by Yum Nums had flecks of gold leaf on each tier and we adorned it with passion fruit foliage and black grapes and blueberries for a decadent touch and sat on a gold sequin tablecloth from Idyllic Days.
The long table had an asymmetric runner of foliage across the table and we added gold tableware from Idyllic Days Kent and midnight blue sequin runners from The Sweet Hostess.
I do love a bit of chair decor! Here we used Mr and Mrs papercut signs from Comeuppance with fern to dress the chairs.
