Wedding Styling Inspiration from The Hub

As I mentioned in my blog post last week, last year I spoke at The Hub. Not only was it an inspiring day from a business point of view and a great opportunity to network with fellow wedding suppliers. But it was also styled beautifully so I thought I’d share a few photos from the day with some tops tip on how you can incorporate these ideas into your wedding day styling.

  • Light up letters are a fun addition to your wedding decor, especially for the party. Spell out LOVE, DANCE, your initials or how about your wedding hashtag?
  • When your guests first arrive greet them with an order of the day sign in lovely calligraphy, that clearly lets them know what’s happening when.
  • Inject a bit of your own personality into the day by including much-loved pieces from your home and pretty up with flowers.
  • Set up “lounge areas” for guests during the drinks reception and/or evening party.
  • Create an alternative guest book with a garland of foliage that guests tie message tags on to.
  • Having an intimate guest list? A one tier cake beautifully dressed is just as inviting.
  • Dress long tables with simple muslin runners and bud vases, leaving room for family style dining.

All the above tips can make a wedding ceremony look trendy and unique. The photos posted above look appealing. I showed them to my friend who is getting married next month. She was inspired by the floral decorations made and the dinner table. A post worth reading and recommending.

I love the pictures posted above. Especially the board with the order of the day looks awesome with its beautiful styled text. The wooden touch among the decorations adds up to the charm of the floral decorations. The photographer has done a great job. A post thats worth sharing!
