Advice for choosing your wedding dress

When it comes to choosing your wedding dress it really should be a fun and exciting experience, after all this is the dress you’re going to be married in (yay!) and who doesn’t love bit of shopping. There are varying thoughts and opinions on how you can improve the whole experience out there so I’ve gathered some great advice articles from a few of the top UK weddings blogs to guide you.

A great place to start is the Rock My Wedding Ultimate guide to Wedding Dress Styles it includes helpful drawings and explanations of different dress shapes, necklines and fabrics with shopping tips from well known UK wedding dress designers:

In a similar vein but with a few alternative options is Rock and Roll Bride’s Choosing you Dress, part of her “How to plan your wedding” series.

As with all areas of your wedding you need to have a budget in mind for your wedding dress. For advice on how much a wedding dress costs, this 3 part series on Bridal Musings looks at wedding dresses for under $1000, mid range wedding dresses and couture wedding dress options with top tips on how to find the dress of your dreams in your price range.
