A pretty pastel spring wedding in Surrey

On a lovely sunny day in May Rachel and Alex tied the knot at their Northbrook Park wedding in Surrey. A day all involved had eagerly anticipated after it had been postponed from the year before; it was full of pretty petals, delightful details, love and laughter all wonderfully captured by photographer Marianne Taylor

Rachel’s beautiful fitted lace dress was a bespoke design by Phillipa Lepley which she wore with fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes. Her bridesmaids each had dove grey dresses by Maids to Measure.

The wedding ceremony was in the Vine Room, the lovely Steph from fairy nuff flowers sprinkled her magic fairy dust around with the prettiest pastel peonies, spray roses, fluffy hydrangeas and fragrant stocks. The Crystal Palace Quartet provided the musical accompaniment as Rachel walked up the aisle to the admiring glances of her waiting groom and guests.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to drinks and delicious canapés by the superb Jacaranda Catering in the walled garden.

Before taking their places for the wedding breakfast guests were greeted by the magnificent escort card display of labelled mini vases and bottles filled with sweet-scented flowers crowned by a display of hanging lanterns created by Stress Free Hire.

The wedding breakfast was held in The Orangery where the guests sat at round tables adorned with luscious silver vases abundantly filled with pretty pastel flowers. The classic stationery by Louise Richardson completed the table décor; tables were named after important places to the couple. To complete the look lounge areas were set up near the bar and dance floor for guests to relax after the meal.

Speeches preceded dinner, which was followed by cutting the delectable buttercream cake by The Cake Parlour. Once dinner was over guests then really let their hair down and enjoyed a night of dancing with The Wedding Smashers on the decks.
