Botleys Mansion Wedding
On a crisp September morning as the sun was shining I arrived at Botleys Mansion to coordinate Serena and Matt’s elegant wedding. Serena was getting ready in the wonderful bridal suite at Botleys with all her maids; a hive of activity as Mariam Jensen worked her airbrush magic on makeup and Eve from Errol Douglas styled luscious locks.
The beautiful ceremony was held at Ottershaw Church accompanied by the gospel choir from AMC Chorale.
After the ceremony guests were greeted at Botley’s Mansion with champagne and canapés while being entertained by street magician Troy Van Magic and more live music by AMC Chorale.
Dinner was served in the stunning Atrium where guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal followed by some of the most heartfelt speeches I’ve heard at a wedding from the bridal party and guests; the speech from Serena’s twin sister really did bring a tear to my eye.
After the fabulous cake by Le Papillion Patisserie was cut guests enjoyed games on the lawns with a Caribbean inspired evening buffet, dressing up fun for the Boothnation photobooth and partied the night away to AMC Choral’s live band followed by DJ Mark Jordan.
Serena and Matt were an absolute pleasure to work with, living in Nottingham while planning their wedding they engaged me in the last few months to help them bring their vision to life and coordinate their wedding day. As you can see from their wonderful photos by Neale James they had a fabulous day that I was very honoured to be a part of.
