Art Deco Inspired London Wedding: 20th Century Theatre (part 2)

Following the heartfelt ceremony I shared in my last post at the Foundling Museum, today we step into the dazzling world of Natasha & Simon’s art deco-inspired wedding reception, held at the unique and atmospheric 20th Century Theatre in London. This iconic venue, steeped in history and theatrical charm, provided the perfect blank canvas for the couple to bring their elegant vision to life.

The 20th Century Theatre, operating on a dry hire basis, truly became a stage for Natasha and Simon’s personal style. Every element, from the ambient lighting to the carefully chosen tables and chairs, was thoughtfully curated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The transformation was remarkable, a testament to meticulous planning and creative collaboration.

A particular highlight was the breathtaking floral installation, a verdant masterpiece that was ingeniously integrated into the theatre’s lighting rig. This stunning feature, crafted by the talented Rebel Rebel, added a touch of natural beauty and dramatic flair to the industrial chic of the venue.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed and treated to a delightful selection of homemade dips and freshly baked bread, setting a relaxed and convivial tone for the evening. This was followed by a truly exceptional three-course meal prepared by the incredible team at Under Cover Kitchen. Their culinary expertise ensured a memorable dining experience for all.

As the evening progressed, the celebration moved into full swing with the arrival of cocktails, including the ever-popular Espresso Martini, ensuring spirits remained high. Entertainment was provided by the lively swing and jive band, The Goosebumps, whose infectious energy had guests tapping their feet and filling the dance floor.

Adding a touch of classic indulgence was the magnificent chocolate-covered profiterole tower cake, a delicious creation from the renowned Patisserie Valerie. It served as a stunning centerpiece and a sweet conclusion to the formal part of the evening. This London Theatre Wedding reception at the 20th Century Theatre was a vibrant and personal reflection of Natasha and Simon’s love story, perfectly embodying their art deco-inspired aesthetic.
