From May 17th Micro packages will be available for parties up to 30 and from June 21st all restrictions will be removed, but don’t let that stop you from booking these venues, they are perfect for an intimate affair any year. These 10 venues offer affordable and safe COVID friendly wedding packages. Marrying during a pandemic could seem intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. The RSA aims to ‘harness the curiosity, creativity and courage of (our) community to realise change’ and this past year has been no different. With new restrictions being put into place every day there had been an incline in interest in regard to micro weddings and the RSA are more than happy to accommodate their clientele. The venue offers not one but two personalised wedding packages to create the tiny wedding of your dreams. 10-11 Carlton house terrace

Elegance, beauty and history. If you are looking for a classic styled terrace with an essence of history and art then this could be the venue you are searching for. 10-11 Carlton House Terrace is known as one of the most fashionable address’ in London and after looking at the venue yourself you can understand why. With most of the interior design dating back to the late 1820’s and the rest being remodeled by distinguished architect Detmar Blow and Ferdnand Billerey the venue gives an outstanding aura of class and extravagance. Fulham Palace is overflowing with history. With its site dating back to 4,000 BC and venue dating back 1300 years there is not a more historically rich location on our list. Between its beautifully classic building and fantastic gardens you could not find a more picture-perfect location to live out your Downton Abbey wedding fantasies. Perhaps you’re an art lover, looking for a venue with something a little more unique to offer? At Dulwich Picture Gallery, they have a number of different options for micro weddings. It’s possible to say ‘I do’ in the Soane Gallery as well as smaller side galleries which offer the perfect spot for small, intimate weddings for 7-10 people. Dulwich Picture Gallery is known for being a vibrant hub of culture and art so could be your perfect venue to marry in style. Museum of the Order of St John

Known as a hidden jewel in the heart of the city. This period venue is excellent for those that are looking for something more traditional. The museum has rooms that date from the twelfth and sixteenth century, the Council Chambers is their micro venue offering an intimate and evocative atmosphere, that is a beautiful and romantic setting, perfect for a wedding day soiree. Starting at £600, the venue offers a choice to bring in your own caterers from their list of preferred suppliers.
Charter House

This former Carthusian monastery has a highly experienced team to help create the day of your dreams, they offer a multitude of packages across many rooms of their venue and due to restrictions, they are now offering weddings to couples with 15-30 guests in 3 different rooms; Norfolk Cloister, Great Chamber and The Old Library. With prices starting at £55 this venue is both beautiful and can reasonably be within budget, make sure to check out their site for full details on prices and packages.
Somerset House

Somerset House offers diverse and versatile spaces, giving you the freedom to build on their venue to mould it into something to fit your taste and style. Each room has its own sense of history and charm. For their micro weddings, they are offering exclusive access to both the Portico Rooms and Seamen’s Hall, both located in the south wing, each venue offers something different. The Portico Rooms are modern and bright, the ideal space for a contemporary styled wedding, whereas Seaman’s Hall is decorated with large Corinthian columns and huge windows giving a more classical and traditional atmosphere. Prices start from £2000+VAT for their ceremony only package.
ANDAZ LONDON LIVERPOOL STREET
This Grecian style Masonic Temple is spectacular, extravagant, and perhaps Andaz London’s best kept secret. The temple itself is decked out in marble and gold and can be accessed through a winding staircase. Their blue ceiling lends to striking wedding photographs and their staff are ready to grant you all of your wishes. Located in the once iconic, Great Eastern Hotel, the building itself dates back to 1884 and each of its rooms has its own stunning personality, creating a perfect backdrop for your wedding day. Their intimate wedding packages start from £3000 and include prosecco, canapés, wine and more.
Brunel Museum

Another unique venue in a railway tunnel, is Brunel Museum who are opening up their venue to micro weddings. The museum offers a music system, mixer desk, amps, speakers, a lighting system, lighting systems and projectors as well as exclusive access to the courtyard, rooftop garden and tunnel shaft. They do have their own bar Midnight Apothecary but you are welcome to bring any of your own suppliers for your special day. Brunel is a whimsical dream that is both a wildlife wilderness and a steampunk vision.
