Entertainment can really help the whole day so you need to think about what kind of entertainment you can have and for what parts of the day as it can really make a difference to the mood and atmosphere of the day
Your choice of entertainment can make the whole day memorable for the right reason, how you entertain guests can really make or break the party
Most people start by thinking about the evening party and will have a live band and/or DJ check. As with all your suppliers do your research when looking for a band and/or DJ what music they will be playing, check the reviews, tell them what you do and don’t like- just as important
Also think about other parts of the day, what other ways can you add entertainment?
The evening is the obvious time to for music entertainment but think about other parts of the day too
Ceremony music-before after and during- you could have string quartet, choir, guitarist, soloist singer? Maybe even a talented family friend?
Drinks reception- therte are many alternative styles of entertainment- roaming magician, silhouette artist, circus performers etc At one my weddings we set up different zones for guests and in one of those zones we had 3 old school arcade games and table games too – was really fun for both adults and kids a like
Don’t just restrict to the evening party, think of the whole day -what other parts of day that you can have different forms of entertainment? There are great alternatives to just music, lots of other options available so good to think out of the box.
